비트겐슈타인의 딱정벌레

마틴 코헨(Martin Cohen)의 <Wittgenstein’s Beetle and Other Classic Thought Experiments>(2005)은 철학사와 과학사에 등장하는 스물여섯 가지 사고 실험을 소개하는 책이다. 이 책의 독특한 점은 사고 실험을 주제나 시대로 묶어서 소개하는 것이 아니라 각 로마자에 대응하는 사고 실험을 소개한다는 점이다. 이 책에서 소개하는 사고실험이 스물여섯 개인 것은 이 때문이다. 한국에는 『비트겐슈타인의 딱정벌레: 철학과 과학의 26가지 사고실험』라는 제목으로 번역되었는데, 옮긴이도 원작자의 재치를 한국어로 옮기지 못한 점을 아쉬워한다.(「옮긴이의 말」) 원서에 나오는 목차는 다음과 같다.
